Beliefs and Charms

December 14, 2007

Any extent of mastery in science can’t beat the kicks one gets from occasionally going with blind beliefs. I am not saying that it should dictate one’s life, but a silly belief can make your day, seeing that something is predictable and sure-shot (though you dont know how or why it works). It is the mystery factor that is so mesmerizing, and yet it reiterates your profiling ability and assures a good factor of probability (provided you do something specific, like wear a particular shirt, or go empty-stomach, etc.).

In this age of getting everything answered and drilling things down to bits, such fantasy-like episodes soften the rough rides.

Do you believe in any?
